Biggest take away was realising we are there truly to support one another so if someone is struggling with something it is our job to help them with a hand up and if we don’t have the answer then to work together to find a solution.
I think the Training Session is invaluable as it is setting the solid foundation for building a strong MasterMind and that is only going to improve all of our chances to succeed. It’s just like building a house, you wouldn’t build a house without a solid concrete slab would you?

The best way of learning is doing. With Tony from UpMinded running out MasterMind group Training Session we were privileged to learn from an expert on how to achieve the most out of our MasterMind as well as ourselves.
Surprisingly, I enjoyed the homework element of the session. It was a fantastic way to create a MasterMind meeting with a purpose.
The session also helped us all connect and bring everyone onto the same page. Our UpMinded session confirmed that our MasterMind is working towards a common goal and I feel very lucky to have been placed in a group of like-minded people.
I know now I will feel comfortable helping, giving and sharing my Amazon journey and I look forward to the year ahead with my MasterMind group.

Tony – firstly, thanks for getting this all up and running for the community, it has been awesome from the get go.
Already in 3 or 4 weeks it has pushed me along at a much better pace than I was moving at.
We have been working it out very quickly, with both the info you provided, as well as your guidance.
I curiously wrote a note at my last meeting, that was simply titled “Friends are shit cheerleaders”
While close personal friends have almost had an angry reaction to the mention of what I am doing with my Amazon journey, the MasterMind group is a team of people that want to hear, share, support, lean on each other.
Wow, that’s what I was missing for the first 2 months of my journey.
Although it probably speaks volumes to my own inbuilt blockades, I see a big shift in the short time I have been with the group.

It was good for all members to hear and learn how an effective meeting could/should be run. Good to be able to ask questions, hear real life examples, and get clarification.
The homework task enabled everyone to get the feel discussion in a meeting- “going around the table” and also gave an early insight on where everyone’s interests and skills may lie.
Certainly a great way to set the expectations, standards at the start of the MM journey.

Do it, sooner rather than later. We considered waiting a while to let our MasterMind group settle but I am very glad we did it early on so we could build the correct process and avoid any bad habits becoming engrained.

I think the training was excellent and very specific. The points were strongly articulated without fear of upsetting anyone. I am sure that we all benefited from an understanding of how we could improve not only as a group, but as individuals. I know I did.
Very worthwhile and should be done early in your MM relationship as it puts you all on the same track to create a productive session for each meeting.
Having Tony go through the steps of the Agenda in detail provides everyone with a solid understanding of what can be expected from the group and how the discussions can benefit all members. It was a very worthwhile exercise.

The biggest takeaway definitely has to be that structure and process that everyone follows and respects are paramount to an effective mastermind.
I also really loved the addition of an Education Session that is presented by the member in the Hot Seat.
I think that is really great as all members of a MasterMind should be giving as much as they are receiving to/from the group, and be well prepared.
For other MasterMind groups thinking of this training – 100% do it!
It will absolutely enhance your MasterMind and in return your Amazon/or other business journey.
It’s a hands down must, and you’ve got everything to gain.

I learned that we would benefit more from having a more structured approach to our meetings and it is the chairpersons responsibility to assist the members to adhere to the structure.
Even if you think your MasterMind is going really well, Tony has lots of valuable tips to make it even better.
Also, at the very least, it gives you the opportunity to look ‘top down’ on what is happening and start the discussion for continual improvement.
